Kansas 4-H Action Teams serve to bring youth, volunteers, and K-State Research and Extension staff together to plan and conduct educational state 4-H programs, events and activities. Input from action teams assures grassroots involvement, provides leadership opportunities, and creates a cadre of informed, motivated volunteers across the state.
The Kansas STEM Action Team works with the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center to provide experiences for younger 4-Hers. The action team also provides training’s across the state for those interested in learning more about the STEM program. In addition to these opportunities the action team guides the STEM program at the Kansas State Fair.
