This year (2025) we are adding the use of ‘packets’ for displays. This may be new to some in the project and we’ll explain it really quickly. At the state fair, there are many exhibits that come in all with paper work. It’s very easy for that paper work to get lost or blown across Centennial Hall. Additionally we want to make it easier for the judges and make exhibits look their best. That’s why packets have been added this year for exhibits needing diagrams and other paperwork. It should also be noted, at the Kansas State Fair the packets will be separated from the exhibit and returned to the county extension office in their ‘State Fair Packet.’ This is like most other Engineering Technology areas at the State Fair.

**** Posters, Display Boards, & Notebooks, No additional exhibit information is required; no manila envelope is needed for these exhibits.  All other exhibits need the additional information included in a manila envelope. All other exhibits need the additional information included in a manila envelope. Displays, notebooks and posters have been combined into one score sheet for all divisions.
